DAN KINSELLA

A native of the Irish Fifth Ward in Newport, Rhode Island, Dan inherited his mechanical inclination, appreciation for trained craft and satisfaction from hands on work from his father, a professional upholsterer of antique furniture for the nearby Bellevue Avenue mansions. He grew up alongside craftsmen and carpenters inside Newport's prestigious homes, gaining knowledge the best way one can - by getting dirty. Recognizing demand and driven for more, Dan operated a residential framing company which led to employment as a project manager, then foreman with Horan Building Company. In 2003, Dan reached his long-time goal when he opened Kinsella Building Company and today, with a life-long expertise that crosses every facet of the industry paired with a belief in genuine business integrity and a strong company culture, he continues to drive forward an award-winning company that he is proud to put his name on.

Dan lives in Middletown, RI with his wife, Lisa, their two children, and the family's dear German Shephard, Ayla. Dan is wonderfully passionate about the great outdoors, particularly for the habitats along the world's coastlines and under its oceans. He is a certified master scuba diver with over 500 logged dives and is also a long-time volunteer for a local Boy Scouts of America troop.
