DAN KINSELLA, GENERAL CONTRACTOR & OWNER

A native of the Irish Fifth Ward in Newport, Rhode Island, Dan inherited his mechanical inclination, appreciation for trained craft and satisfaction from hands on work from his father, an upolsterer for the nearby Bellevue Avenue mansions. He grew up alongside craftsmen and carpenters inside Newport's prestigious homes, gaining knowledge the best way one can - by getting dirty. Recognizing demand and driven for more, Dan operated a residential framing company which led to employment as a project manager, then foreman with Horan Building Company. In 2003, Dan reached his long-time goal when he opened Kinsella Building Company and today, with a life-long expertise that crosses every facet of the industry paired with a belief in genuine business integrity and a strong company culture, he continues to drive forward a company that is built on a lot of hard work and worthy of putting his name on it.
